Fernham Homes and Spadework Celebrated with Double Recognition at National Charity Awards

Kent-based partnership Highly Commended for Community Impact and Long-Term Collaboration

Fernham Homes and Spadework are celebrating national recognition after their partnership was Highly Commended in two categories at the Third Sector Business Charity Awards.

Hosted by Third Sector magazine, the Business Charity Awards spotlight outstanding partnerships between businesses and UK charities that are driving meaningful and lasting change. The Fernham Homes-Spadework partnership was shortlisted in four categories, reflecting three years of shared commitment, values-led working and meaningful community impact, including raising more than £120,000 to support Spadework’s work across Kent.

On the night, the partnership was Highly Commended in both the Community Impact category and the Mid-Term Partnership category, placing the organisations alongside some of the UK’s most recognised charities and corporate partners.

Kris Healey, CEO of Spadework, said:

“To be recognised at a national level like this is incredibly rewarding. Being Highly Commended for both our community impact and the strength of our partnership really matters to us, because it reflects consistent, values-led work over time. I’m hugely proud of our team, and grateful for the continued support Fernham Homes has shown to this partnership. I’m excited about what we can continue to achieve together for many years to come.”

Sean Ellis, Managing Director of Fernham Homes, added:

“This recognition means a great deal because our partnership with Spadework has always been about long-term impact rather than short-term campaigns. To be acknowledged alongside major national partnerships is testament to what can be achieved when organisations commit to working together with purpose, trust and ambition. We’re extremely proud of what we’ve built together.”

The awards mark an important milestone in a partnership that continues to create opportunities and support communities across Kent, with both organisations committed to building on this success in the years ahead.
