Fernham Homes Wins Gold Customer Satisfaction Award For Seventh Consecutive Year

Fernham Homes is proud to announce it has been awarded the 2026 Gold Award for Customer Satisfaction by In-house Research, marking the seventh consecutive year the Kent-based housebuilder has received this prestigious industry recognition.

The Gold Award recognises housebuilders delivering excellent levels of customer satisfaction, based on independent feedback from homeowners who completed on their new home during the previous year.

From 2026, the In-house Customer Satisfaction Awards introduced a revised methodology designed to provide a more comprehensive view of the homebuying experience. Rather than relying on a single recommendation score, the awards are now determined using a weighted satisfaction score that reflects customer feedback across several key stages of the journey.

These include:

  • Satisfaction with how customers were kept informed throughout the process
  • Satisfaction with the condition of the home at handover
  • Satisfaction with how the housebuilder dealt with defects or issues
  • Whether customers would recommend the builder to others

By combining feedback across these areas, the awards provide a balanced and meaningful assessment of the overall customer experience, based entirely on independently collected homeowner feedback.
