Fernham Homes receives RoSPA Gold Award for Health and Safety excellence

Fernham Homes has been awarded a RoSPA Gold Award, recognising its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety across its business.

The award reflects performance throughout 2025 and recognises the consistent approach taken across Fernham Homes’ sites and operations to protect employees, contractors and partners.

Awarded by Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), the Gold Award is part of one of the most respected health and safety programmes globally. Now in its 70th year, the RoSPA Awards receive around 2,000 entries annually from organisations in nearly 60 countries.

For Fernham Homes, the award highlights a continued focus on doing things properly. From site management and training through to day-to-day working practices, health and safety is embedded into how each home is delivered.

Sean Ellis, Managing Director at Fernham Homes, said:

“At Fernham Homes, health and safety is our highest priority. It is part of our culture and how we operate across the whole of our business.

This recognition reflects the effort our team and partners put in every day to maintain high standards and look out for one another. As we continue to grow, that focus will remain unchanged.”

The RoSPA Awards programme encourages organisations to continually review and improve their health and safety practices, supporting ongoing learning and development while helping to reduce workplace accidents.

Julia Small, Growth Director at RoSPA, said:

“RoSPA congratulates Fernham Homes on its RoSPA Health and Safety Award. The high standards it has achieved are the result of hard work and dedication, of which it should be rightfully proud.

It is because of the commitment of organisations like Fernham Homes that people today are safer at work, setting an inspiring example for the future.”

The RoSPA Awards are sponsored by NEBOSH, a leading global organisation providing internationally recognised health, safety and environmental qualifications.
